Fernbank Hotel is ideally situated on the edge of the centre of Basingstoke, easily accessible by car and train. It provides easy access to the A30, A33, M3 and M4 corridors and is within walking distance of the train station with services to Heathrow airport, Reading, Oxford, Southampton, the South West and London.

From the M3, exit at junction 6. Take the exit towards Basingstoke and Reading (A30/A339) for 0.3 miles. At the roundabout  (Black Dam Roundabout) take the 1st left onto Ringway S/A30 West (signposted Viables A30 and Alton A339) for 0.8 miles. Exit at the next roundabout (Hackwood Road Roundabout) taking the 3rd exit onto Hackwood Road (signposted Fairfields) for 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Cliddesden Road. Take the 2nd right onto Fairfields Road. The hotel is on the left hand side after approximately 460 feet. The hotel car park is accessed via the driveway immediately to the right of the building.

The nearest train stations to Fernbank Hotel are Basingstoke (1 mile), Hook (7 miles), Bramley (8 miles), Overton and Winchfield (both 10 miles) and Micheldever and Alton (both 12 miles).

Heathrow Airport is approximately 35 miles from Fernbank Hotel and around 45 minutes’ drive away. Exit Heathrow Airport and take the M4 (West). Exit the M4 junction 4b for the M25. Leave the M25 at junction 12 for the M3 (South). Exit the M3 at junction 6 (Basingstoke) and follow the above directions to the hotel.

A taxi from Heathrow Airport to the hotel will cost approximately GBP 50. Trains depart approximately every 30 minutes to Basingstoke and the journey takes around 90 minutes and should cost approximately GBP 30.

Gatwick Airport is approximately 60 miles from Fernbank Hotel and around 60 minutes’ drive away. Exit Gatwick Airport and take the M23 towards London. Exit the M23 at junction 8 and take the M25 (clockwise, and signposted for Heathrow). Exit the M25 at junction 12 for the M3 (signposted for Basingstoke and Southampton). Exit the M3 at junction 6 (Basingstoke) and follow the above directions to the hotel.

A taxi from Gatwick Airport to the hotel will cost approximately GBP 75. Trains depart approximately every 10 minutes to Basingstoke and the journey takes around 90 minutes and should cost approximately GBP 25.
